The Ministry of Economy, in collaboration with the World Bank, conducted a survey among international tourists regarding Armenia's internal security environment, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan said during the government session on September 12.
"Tourists gave high ratings to Armenia’s internal security environment, both in villages, regional towns, and the outskirts of Yerevan. Tourists had the opportunity to walk freely in the evening, at night, and late hours, and essentially, there were no issues. They compared their experience with other countries, and, in their opinion, Armenia was a very safe country at all times of the day," Papoyan said.
