On September 12, the RA NA President Alen SImonyan met with the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Tulia Ackson and the Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Martin Chungong. The RA NA President thanked them for giving an opportunity to hold the 10th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Armenia and proposed them to observe the opportunity of holding the Conference of the Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union also in Armenia in future.
In her turn Tulia Ackson expressed her deepest gratitude to Alen Simonyan for organizing the Conference at high level and for warm reception, Armenian Parliament reports.
The interlocutors touched upon other issues of bilateral interest and cooperation, including the theme of Armenian captives held in Azerbaijan.
