On September 10, within the framework of the "Yerevan Dialogue" international forum, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received Kirti Vardhan Singh, the Minister of State for External Affairs of India.
The interlocutors commended that bilateral cooperation between Armenia and India is developing in a number of areas of mutual interest and expressed readiness to continue joint efforts in further expanding the bilateral agenda.
The possibility of cooperation on different platforms and formats was also touched upon.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Kirti Vardhan Singh exchanged views on regional issues. Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that Armenia's vision for achieving stability and peace in the South Caucasus is clear as it is based on unconditional respect for the fundamental principles of international law and a firm commitment to ensuring economic development and effective interconnectivity in the region.
In this context, Minister Mirzoyan presented the latest discussions on signing the peace treaty with Azerbaijan, as well as the steps being taken to reach the unblocking of regional communications. The interlocutors stressed the importance of effective operation of economic and transport communications for all the interested parties and in general for ensuring regional stability.
