Armenia will participate in the informal CIS summit to be held in May 2025, Armenia's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mnatsakan Safaryan said this in a briefing with journalists in the National Assembly.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, said that the unofficial summit of the CIS is planned to be held in Moscow on the eve of the parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory.
The representative of the Kremlin clarified that the leaders of unfriendly countries will not be invited to the capital of Russia.
He noted that in addition to the official summit of the CIS participating countries planned for the eve of the parade, there will also be bilateral contacts.
