In recent years, the relations of the Republic of Armenia with Georgia registered essential progress, including all spheres of bilateral agenda: The RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mnatsakan Safaryan noted.
At September 4 sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, the Deputy Foreign Minister presented for debate the draft law on Ratifying the Agreement on Implementing Activity being paid by the Staff of the diplomatic representations and consular institutions between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of Georgia.
The purpose of the Agreement is to improve the employment opportunities of the family members of the Staff of the diplomatic representations and consular institutions.
In her co-report Lena Nazaryan informed that permission to paid work will give the Foreign Ministry of the given country for the period, during which the diplomatic representations and the Staff of consular institutions will be accredited in the receiving country. He also noted that the person applying for work will obey the national legislation of the state giving job.
The Committee endorsed the document being under debate.
