Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan says the decision to dissolve the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship is possible only in the context of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, after peace is an established fact.
“I believe it is possible to make such a decision in the context of peace. When peace is an established fact, the existence of that format may indeed raise questions,” PM Pashinyan said.
“The question is about the timeframe. According to my logic, there is no need to put the cart before the horse in any matter,” said Pashinyan.
Azerbaijan alleges that if Armenia does not agree to the dissolution of the Minsk Group co-chairmanship right now, it means the latter has territorial claims on Azerbaijan.
“We have no territorial claims on Azerbaijan,” PM Pashinyan emphasized.
