The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan responded to the statements of the Prime Minister of Armenia during the press conference today, stating that the claims that there are territorial claims against Armenia in the Constitution of Azerbaijan are wrong.
According to Aykhan Hajizada, Spokesperson of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, there is no need to draw parallels between the constitutions of Azerbaijan and Armenia. He once again noted that regardless of the signing of the peace treaty, the condition for establishing a real and stable peace is the cessation of territorial claims against Baku.
To note, Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the meeting with the media that, unlike Armenia, Azerbaijan's Constitution contains territorial claims against Armenia.
