Drone debris caused a fire and explosions in Russia’s Voronezh Region, Governor Alexander Gusev said, TASS reports.
"On-duty air defenses and electronic warfare systems destroyed and jammed several more unmanned aerial vehicles in the Voronezh Region. Drone debris caused a fire, which led to the detonation of explosive items. No more casualties or damage to civilian facilities were reported," he wrote on Telegram.
Response teams are working at the site; a drone alert remains in effect in the region, the governor added.
The state of emergency was triggered in the Ostrogozhsky District of the Voronezh Region for the response to consequences after the drone attack at night, governor of the region Alexander Gusev said on his Telegram channel.
"The state of emergency was introduced in the territory of three settlements for the response to consequences of fire and detonation of explosive items in the Ostrogozhsky District. One village and one gardeners’ partnership were evacuated - about 200 people in total. An emergency shelter was opened but almost all people were accommodated by relatives," the governor said.
Two women were founded and one of them was hospitalized in a grave condition after the night drone attack, Gusev added.
In the Belgorod district, 13 settlements were attacked with five munitions and 13 drones. One civilian was injured. Four private houses, one outbuilding and five cars were damaged. Three drones attacked the territory of the Borisovsky district, two private houses were burned down, one private house and two outbuildings were damaged.
