On August 23, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan received Marieke Harriet Monroy-Winter, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands to Armenia, on the occasion of handing over the copy of her credentials.
Congratulating the Ambassador on the assumption of her mission, the Deputy Foreign Minister expressed hope that the Ambassador will spare no effort to further develop relations between Armenia and the Netherlands.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on the issues of further enhancement of political dialogue, cooperation within the international organizations as well as in trade and economic spheres. The deepening of parliamentary cooperation was highlighted.
Regional and international security issues were also touched upon.
