Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani answered the journalists' question during a briefing on how Iran views the alleged arms sale to Armenia by the US.
"I don't have any factual information about what you mentioned and I can't comment on the published news," Kanaani said.
The diplomat noted that they do not comment on Armenian-American relations, but are skeptical about the US role in the region.
The official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry also referred to Armenian-Iranian relations.
"The important thing is that the relations between Iran and Armenia are friendly and constructive, and both countries have a common will to develop comprehensive relations. Iran and Armenia attach importance to establishing stability and security in the region and borders," Kanaani said.
