The President of Azerbaijan received the President of Russia who is in Baku on a state visit. Ahead of the small-group negotiations, the presidents made a statement to the press. Ilham Aliyev stated that Moscow and Baku are satisfied with the level of bilateral cooperation.
Putin emphasized that Moscow is ready to participate in the Armenia-Azerbaijan settlement process, to the extent that the parties want it. "Russia will be happy if it can in some way contribute to the signing of the peace treaty and the border delimitation processes," Putin said.
The Russian President added that after his visit to Azerbaijan, he will talk with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and present the results of the meeting with Aliyev.
