He defeated Jonni Kunnari Sarkkinen of Finland, the 2021 European Junior Champion, 2022 U20 European runner-up, 2023 U23 European Champion, and 2024 Olympic qualifier winner, before the regular time.
Earlier, Arthur Aleksanyan also won his first match prematurely with a score of 9-0. The bout lasted 4 minutes and 16 seconds.
