Vedant Patel, Principal Deputy Spokesperson at the U.S. State Department referred to the latest regional visit by Louis L. Bono, Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations to the South Caucasus and possible breakthrough in Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process.
“Of course, this is something that both the Secretary and Coordinator Bono continue to be deeply engaged on, but I don’t have any specific updates … or a timeline to offer. This is something we’re going to continue to work towards”, Patel said during a press briefing.
