Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan participated in a round-table discussion at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in London on July 22, with representatives from expert circles.

In the context of the deepening partnership with the European Union, Minister Mirzoyan referred to the decisions taken by the EU Council on the same day regarding the provision of support to Armenia under the European Peace Facility and the start of a dialogue on visa liberalization. He emphasized that these steps align with the valuable partnership formed and the European aspirations of the citizens of Armenia.
It is noted that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia presented in detail the current security situation in the South Caucasus and the latest developments regarding the regulation of relations with neighboring countries.
Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the vision of the Republic of Armenia and the steps taken to implement it to establish stability and lasting peace in the region.In the context of the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan stressed the importance of concluding a peace treaty in a short period of time.
