At the Shushi Global Media Forum, Ilham Aliyev stated that he is deeply disappointed with the attitude of the American administration towards Azerbaijan. He expressed his belief that Washington is taking a one-sided approach, trying to create dividing lines in the Caucasus.
The President of Azerbaijan called the meeting held in Brussels on April 5 strange, expressed displeasure that the West provides defense support to Armenia.
At the same time, he noted that Baku-Washington relations were successfully arranged during the Republican administration, despite certain upheavals. He also stated that his country conducts an independent foreign policy, develops relations with partners, including countries in the region, ignoring rumors, including statements from the European Parliament or the Council of Europe.
