Thousands of protesters, mainly Houthi supporters, took part in a rally in Sanaa on Friday (July 17) in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Reuters reports.
The protesters gathered holding banners and large Palestinian and Yemeni flags.
Earlier on Friday, a long-range Iranian-made drone hit the centre of Tel Aviv, in an attack claimed by the Yemen-based Houthi militia that killed one man and wounded four others, the Israeli military and emergency services said.
The explosion occurred hours after the Israeli military confirmed it had killed a senior commander of the Iran-backed Hezbollah militia in southern Lebanon.
A spokesman for the Houthis, which like Hezbollah are aligned with Iran, said the group had attacked Tel Aviv with a drone and would continue to target Israel in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza war.
