An exchange of views took place on the issues of the Ukrainian crisis. The head of the diplomatic mission was explained the content of the initiative of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on June 14 to resolve the conflict around Ukraine. It was emphasized that the proposals of the Russian leader provide a real opportunity to achieve peace.
A number of topical issues related to the situation in the South Caucasus were also discussed. Mutual interest was expressed in continuing close coordination of approaches within the framework of the 3+3 Consultative Regional Platform. The parties’ critical assessment of the attempts of the “collective West” to bring destabilization and tension to this region in their opportunistic interests is emphasized.
