Finnish President Alexander Stubb said he had discussed the upcoming Helsinki OSCE chairmanship with the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan, as well as the head of unrecognized Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.
As he wrote in
X the meetings took place on the margins of the European Political Community summit.
“We discussed European security, Ukraine, regional issues, and Finland’s upcoming OSCE Chairmanship, among other topics,” Stubb said.
Finland will chair the OSCE in the organization's jubilee year of 2025. An OSCE participating State holds the chairmanship-in-office for one calendar year.
