The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Greece Tigran Mkrtchyan met with Asterios Tsoukalas, Secretary General of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank.
According to the readout issued by the Embassy of Armenia in Greece Ambassador Mkrtchyan presented the economic development trends recorded in Armenia in recent years, the current situation in the banking system. The programs of strategic importance were presented, such as the plan of the Armenian government to establish the city of Gyumri as a "dry port" and the details of the idea of the Crossroads of Peace and the obstacles to its implementation.
Asterios Tsoukalas detailed the bank's cooperation with Armenia in recent years, he referred to the projects that are being implemented today, as well as the prospects for cooperation in the future.
The meeting was attended by David Shahzadeyan, senior advisor of the bank and Akis Dagazyan, Honorary Consul of Armenia in Thessaloniki.
