German Chancellor Olaf Scholz referred to the meetings held in London within the framework of the summit of the European Political Community.
"The conversation with Prime Minister of Armenia Mr. Pashinyan and President of Azerbaijan Mr. Aliyev was important for me. This year is extremely important for this region. It can become a year of peace if the parties continue to take active and bold steps towards each other. I used the opportunity to appeal to the parties," said Scholz.
According to him, Europe will support Armenia and Azerbaijan on the way to establishing peace. According to Sholtz, "it will last a long time and will ensure long-term good cooperation for the neighboring countries."
