The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia informs that the plane that crashed in the Kotayk province was a training plane.
"I confirm that the crashed plane is a training plane. The Ministry of Defense offers its condolences to the family members, relatives and fellow soldiers of the fallen pilots," the Spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, Aram Torosyan, told 1lurer.am.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that on July 19, at 09:30, an alert was received from a citizen that a plane had crashed near Yeghvard town, near the area called 'Ltcher'. According to preliminary data, AN-2 plane crashed, there are 2 victims.
