The Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 38,713, Gaza-based health authorities said on Tuesday, Reuters reports.
Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli military had killed 49 people and wounded 69 others, bringing the total death toll to 38,713 and injuries to 89,166 since the Palestinian-Israeli conflict broke out last October, it said in a statement.
The Israel military on Tuesday launched attacks on displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, killing 13 people and injuring 26 others, according to the health authorities.
Israel has yet to respond to the statement.
