The US will support Kyiv if the latter decides to invite Russia to a new summit on Ukraine, US State Department Spokesman Matthew Miller said. According to him, the decision should be made by the authorities of Ukraine anyway.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Russian representatives should participate in the second conference on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, the preparations for which are planned to be completed by November 2024.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin also announced that Moscow does not accept ultimatums regarding the situation in Ukraine at the peace summits. According to him, they will try to promote "Zelensky's ultimatum resolution" in future meetings.
