The US authorities still do not have clear information about the motives of the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump. This was announced by the head of the White House and Trump's opponent in the November 14 presidential election, Joe Biden.
"I urge everyone, please do not make assumptions about the shooter's possible motives or connections," CNN quoted Biden as saying. "Let the FBI do its job and partner agencies do theirs."
Biden added that an independent investigation and review of security measures will be conducted in the United States to find out how the assassination attempt against Trump was possible. "The results of the investigation will be published," Biden promised.
