We hope that a peace treaty will be signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia and peace will be established. President of Turkey Recep Erdogan stated this during the press conference following the NATO Summit in Washington, answering the question whether he considers it possible for a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan to be signed before the end of this year.
"We want to see that reconciliation as soon as possible," said the head of Turkey.
According to him, the authorities of both Azerbaijan and Armenia are taking positive steps in that direction.
