Defense Ministers of Russia and the United States Andrei Belousov and Lloyd Austin had a telephone conversation, the Pentagon reports.
It is noted that Austin emphasized the importance of maintaining communication channels. This is the second conversation between the heads of the defense departments of the two countries within a month.
