Armenia has complete political will to make open borders a reality. Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Hakob Arshakyan told during the briefings in the Parliament, referring to the opening of the border with Turkey.
Hakob Arshakyan explained to the question: under what circumstances is it possible to have an open border with Turkey. "During our conversation, the agreement is such that there should be no preconditions, and I hope that this agreement is kept. The opening of borders is in the interests of both countries and peoples, and I hope that it will happen as soon as possible."
According to Arshakyan, by overcoming the obstacles related to having open borders, more favorable conditions will be created for Armenia and the Armenian people from the point of view of the standard of living, the level of security, and the establishment of long-term peace.
