It is planned to build a new stadium with prefabricated constructions in Yerevan, Yerevan Municipality reports.
To implement the project, the community collaborates with international partners and consults with experts in the field.
In accordance with international standards, the new stadium will have a capacity exceeding 1,000 spectators and will accommodate the training of various sports and the hosting of major international tournaments.
The mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, referred to the design dates of the stadium, noting that the 5 months planned for the design is long.
"I don't know what kind of structure it is, but I think it can be done faster so that at least we have the project this year and start building next year," he said.
