We want to be a mediator. We help to smooth out, form the principles that will allow signing the agreement; US Senator Roger Wicker said during the question-and-answer session after the press conference of members of the congressional delegation.
"The US position is as follows: we highly appreciate the sincere efforts that are being made by Armenia in the direction of reaching an agreement and achieving lasting peace," said Wicker.
According to him, the final goal is that there should be peace and security in the region.
"We highly appreciate the Armenian efforts towards democracy in recent years.
There is a truth that democratic countries have never attacked their neighbors in history. That is why we encourage democracy," said the Senator.
