President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received James O'Brien, Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia.
According to the information of the Azerbaijani side, the latter emphasized the commitment of the US to promote the regional peace agenda and the readiness of the United States to support this process.
It is noted that O'Brien also emphasized the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the USA, touched on regional cooperation, the Middle Corridor, energy and other issues.
According to the media, the American official said that the USA will continue to support the holding of COP29 in Baku.
