Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with US Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien.
During the meeting, issues of the bilateral and multilateral agenda between the United States of America and Azerbaijan, the current state and perspectives of the process of regulating bilateral relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as regional issues were discussed.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Bayramov informed the US Assistant Secretary of State about the negotiations on the peace treaty between the two countries. It was noted that Azerbaijan is interested in establishing peace and stability in the region.
