Saudi Arabia welcomed the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia to recognize the State of Palestine.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom called on the international community, in particular the permanent members of the UN Security Council, which have not yet recognized the State of Palestine, to take steps in that direction.
"It will contribute to the two-state settlement and strengthen the foundations of international security and peace," said the
statement of the Foreign Ministry.
