Egypt welcomes Armenia's decision to recognize the state of Palestine. This was stated in the statement of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.
"The recognition is an important step that supports the legitimacy of the right of the Palestinian people to end the Israeli occupation and establish an independent state," the statement reads.
