Armenian Defence Minister Suren Papikyan held a visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Armenian Ministry’s press office reports.
In the framework of his working visit to Luxembourg on June 20, Papikyan met with the Minister of Defence of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Yuriko Backes. Ambassador Tigran Balayan was also in attendance at the meeting.
“Discussions encompassed the potential for cooperation between Armenia and Luxembourg in security and defence fields, including partnerships in multilateral frameworks such as NATO and the EU, as well as regional security issues.
Minister Papikyan presented an overview of the ongoing reforms within the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia” the Defence Ministry of Armenia said in a press release.
