The Russian Foreign Minister has announced that Moscow will cooperate with Beijing on President Vladimir Putin's new initiative aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
"Russian ambassadors in different countries of the world will convey to the authorities of those countries the proposals of Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the end of the conflict in Ukraine and will present detailed explanations. As for the role of the Foreign Ministry, we are not going to run after anyone. We will wait for them to respond," said Sergey Lavrov, summarizing the meeting of the President with the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Lavrov added that every time the West refused Russia's peace proposals, it did not lead to anything good.
