We believe that the expanded partnership between Armenia and the USA, along with the continuous support of the USA for Armenia's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, has great potential to contribute to establishing stable and dignified peace in the South Caucasus. Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan stated this during the concluding session of the Armenia-USA Strategic Dialogue.
"In this context, I would like to reaffirm that Armenia is committed to the process of normalizing relations with Azerbaijan and delimiting borders based on mutual recognition of territorial integrity as per the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration. There is a historic moment of real opportunity to finalize the peace project, the signing of which can open a new door for long-term peace in the region.
As part of the peace agenda and the vision of regional development, Armenia is greatly interested in unblocking all regional communications, based on the principles of full respect for the sovereignty, jurisdiction, equality, and reciprocity of the countries. This is best reflected in the 'Crossroads of Peace' initiative put forward by our Government", said Mirzoyan.
