Freedom House reminded in its
X microblog that the Government of Azerbaijan continues repression against civil society.
"For Euractiv Mammadli Rovshan outlines the Azerbaijani government's crackdown on civil society ahead of hosting COP29.
Azerbaijan's freedom score is just 7/100, even lower than last year's host, the United Arab Emirates, which scores an 18/100," the statement reads.
