Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed Louis Bono, US State Department’s Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations, about the peace talks with Armenia, Azerbaijan’s MFA reports.
At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on various aspects of the Azerbaijan-US bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda, as well as the regional peace process in the post-conflict period.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Bayramov presented to Bono the current situation in the region, the negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the latest achievements on the peace agenda. The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister assessed the negotiation process, including the meeting held in Almaty, Kazakhstan on May 10-11, as effective.
