Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov addressed the issue of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations during a joint press conference with Pakistani Foreign Minister in Islamabad. He stated that the agreements on delimitation reached with Armenia had a positive impact on the process of normalizing relations between the two countries.
Bayramov assured that Baku remains committed to the peace process and expressed hope that it will contribute to establishing security in the region.
The sides also discussed Azerbaijan-Pakistan bilateral relations, emphasizing strong political dialogue and agreeing to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, communications, energy, and defense sectors. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister reiterated his country’s support for Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Addressing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Bayramov called for an end to the war in Gaza and highlighted Azerbaijan's stance that long-term peace in the Middle East should be based on the "two-state" solution.
