On the morning of May 25, the first cargo train from Azerbaijan arrived in Turkey on the modernized Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
The train delivered 632 tons of plastic raw materials from Baku to Kars, loaded with 20 containers.
The modernization and expansion works of 184 km of the Georgian section of the railway are being carried out from May 2023 and were completed on May 20 of this year.
