The head of the European Council, Charles Michel, wrote in his
X microblog that the EU is closely following the situation related to the hard landing of the helicopter of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Abdollahian.
"Together with EU member states and partners, we are monitoring the situation closely," Michel wrote.
In addition, the US State Department told RIA Novosti that the United States is following the information about the helicopter crash.
"We are closely following reports of a possible hard landing of a helicopter in Iran carrying the Iranian president and foreign minister," a US State Department spokesperson said in a statement.
To remind, on May 19, the helicopter carrying the President of Iran made a hard landing.
Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and a number of officials were in the helicopter.
