During a joint press conference with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara, the Prime Minister of Georgia also touched on Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. Irakli Kobakhidze stated that Georgia is a supporter of peace and cooperation in the South Caucasus.
"The importance of the peace treaty to be signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia is great. We believe that the two countries will eventually agree on a peace treaty," Kobakhidze said.
"The Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey format is a good example of how countries that respect each other's sovereignty can cooperate effectively and successfully. We believe that regional cooperation is important and should be aimed at peace and stability, as well as the development of our countries," he added.
