Vedant Patel, Principal Deputy Spokesperson at US State Department referred to the latest Armenia-Azerbaijan foreign ministers’ meeting in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
“I don’t have any specific engagements to read out. What I will just say is that when it comes to the Nagorno-Karabakh region, we continue to believe that peace is possible. It’s something that the Secretary and others continue to remain deeply engaged on. I don’t have any updates on the negotiations between the parties, but we will continue to support this process”, Patel said during a press briefing.
