Malta is very transparent and honest in its presidency. We will support Armenia and Azerbaijan so that they can reach a lasting and comprehensive peace treaty. OSCE Acting Chairman Ian Borg said this during a joint press conference with Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, referring to the question that Azerbaijan is trying to advance its policy of territorial claims by using the OSCE platform as well.
"We are aware that both countries prefer to solve the issues bilaterally. We support this as the OSCE. Malta is a friend for both Armenia and Azerbaijan," he said.
