The upcoming talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, which are to be held today in the Kremlin, are necessary and expected, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, TASS reports.
"The meeting is necessary and expected by both sides," he said.
The Kremlin said earlier that recently "problematic issues have piled up" in Moscow-Yerevan relations. The Russian authorities expect the upcoming negotiations to set the record straight.
