Kazakhstan is ready to create conditions for discussing the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine and provide a platform for relevant contacts. Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia, Dauren Abaev, stated this in an interview with TASS agency.
"Certainly, Kazakhstan is always ready to help all processes related to peace. It concerns not only Russia and Ukraine, but also Armenia and Azerbaijan, the problem of Syria, the problem of Iran," said the diplomat, answering the question whether Kazakhstan is ready to become a mediator in the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
Abaev noted that there are many initiatives to settle the conflict in Ukraine. "Of course, Russia's opinion should always be taken into account in these processes. Of course, we are ready not to be a mediator, but to provide a platform and create conditions," he added.
