The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia published a congratulatory message on the occasion of Press Freedom Day.
"Today, on the occasion of the Press Freedom Day, we want to stress the crucial role of media in upholding democracy and transparency worldwide. Congratulations to the journalists.
We appreciate cooperation aimed at objective, accurate coverage of facts and current challenges, faced including by the Republic of Armenia and our region in general.
Despite difficulties, Armenia continues the efforts aimed at further improving its Press Freedom indices," the statement reads.
