The European Union plans to allocate an additional €2 million to Azerbaijan for demining. This was announced by the European Commission's General Director for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations, Gert Jan Koopman, in Baku.
"Today I am very pleased to announce that an additional €2 million in grant funding is being allocated this year to provide additional technical assistance to further strengthen capacity in the demining sector," the official said.
