Ilham Aliyev's representative with special instructions referred to what needs to be done in the direction of the regulation of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, noted that the parties are currently negotiating the text of the peace treaty. According to Elchin Amirbekov, serious work has been done on it, but there are still unresolved issues.
"We believe that we will do our best to complete the process in the coming months. We think the agreement will create an important basis for the peaceful coexistence of the two countries," the official emphasized.
He expressed his belief that there is a great opportunity to end hostilities once and for all.
