Armenia will soon convey to Turkey its approaches regarding the restoration of the Ani Bridge. This was reported by the press service of Armenia's Foreign Ministry, responding to a written request of Sputnik Armenia.
"Turkey has transferred to Armenia a protocol on the repair of the Ani Bridge, which is currently being revised and will be transferred to the Turkish side in the near future," said the MFA's response.
As for the Margara-Alijan border checkpoint, the department assured that the repair works of the checkpoint have been completed. It is ready for operation.
Earlier we reported that Armenia and Turkey will carry out joint works to restore the historical bridge of Ani.
